The single channel downconverter is a 1 inch pitch, conduction cooled, VPX circuit card assembly per VITA 48.2. The downconverter contains one full spectrum, Non-blocking RF Down Conversion Module (DCM). The DCM provides RF to IF conversion (where necessary), pre-selection, and gain equalization. The DCM has 2 RF input ports and 8 IF output ports. The DCM accepts an RF input ranging from 2GHz to 18GHz and provides output signals over the IF frequency range of 1GHz to 6GHz.
